FUJITSU TEN Wins 2nd General Motors "Supplier of the Year 2010" award in a Row

General Motors' "Supplier of the Year 2010" award was established in 1992, since when it has been presented every year to the suppliers that GM judges have made a significant contribution to its global business over the year.

Winners are selected by a team made up of executives from a representative range of GM’s departments, including procurement, engineering, quality control, manufacturing, and distribution. Candidate suppliers are judged on their performance in terms of technology, quality, support services, and price.
This year, Fujitsu Ten was one of 82 companies chosen from among some 20,000 GM suppliers worldwide.
"It is a tremendous honor for a global business like the Fujitsu Ten Group to win the Supplier of the Year Award two years running," said Ryoji Otowa, president of Fujitsu Ten Corp of America. "Rewards like these are testament to the ongoing efforts of group employees to fulfill our customer-first policy. The award will no doubt spur us to redouble our endeavors to provide the finest products and services so that we may continue to satisfy our clients' needs."
