Relocation of Production/Marketing Subsidiary Fujitsu Ten Thailand's Head Office to Expanded Site
－Aiming for business expansion across the whole ASEAN area －

FUJITSU TEN LIMITED (Headquarters: Kobe, Japan, President: Takamitsu Tsuchimoto, Capital: 5.3billion yen; "Fujitsu Ten" below) moved Bangkok Head Office of manufacturing overseas-affiliated company, Fujitsu Ten (Thailand) Company Limited (Headquarters: Bangkok, Thailand, President: Kenji Takeuchi, Capital: 200million baht) in October to a new and larger location within the city. It is to strengthen the sales, product planning, support service and quality control functions performed by Bangkok Head Office. The goal behind this move is an expansion of the company's business operations to cover the entire ASEAN territory.

Besides its prime subsidiary Fujitsu Ten Thailand, Fujitsu Ten has established subsidiaries in the Philippines and Singapore within the ASEAN region. Heretofore each of these companies planned and marketed products tailored to the needs of each country. But from now on Fujitsu Ten Thailand will play a central role and will conduct planning and marketing of products optimized for use across the whole ASEAN area, as well as studying products optimized for the individual ASEAN nations via utilization of the individual subsidiaries' capabilities. In this way it is intended to strengthen cost and merchantability competitiveness in the region.

The new Head Office is equipped for the first time with a vehicle test site covering around 100 square meters, in addition to office space amounting to some 750 square meters (formerly 450 square meters). The test site enables the subsidiary to conduct locally various analyses and evaluations using actual vehicles that had previously had to be performed in Japan, as well as product planning. The new Head Office is intended to significantly enhance the company's service, enabling speedier and finer-grained responses to customers.
