27th, April 2006 FUJITSU TEN CORPORATION OF AMERICA acquires ISO/TS16949 certification FUJITSU TEN CORPORATION OF AMERICA (Headquarters: Los Angels, United States, President: Shigehiko Fukuyama), a production subsidiary of FUJITSU TEN LIMITED (Headquarters: Kobe, President: Keijiro Katsumaru, Capital: 5.3 billion yen) has acquired the international certification of quality assurance systems, the "ISO/TS16949" as of March 3rd. The ISO/TS16949:2002 is an international quality management system standard for the automotive industry. The ISO/TS16949 is an ISO Technical Specification that combines the quality management standards of U.S. and European automobile manufacturers (QS 9000, ISO9000 series, etc.), and is the world standard specializing in the automobile industry.
